In loving memory of our dear friend, Dennis who was the godfather to mine and Paul’s children, the light in our lives, and the epitome of brilliance and humour. There are no words to truly capture the impact he had on all of us.
 
I first crossed paths with Dennis, Paul, and Robert 24 years ago, when fate brought us all together in a serendipitous encounter at a Salsa club of all places where we were all impressed with Dennis’ moves on the dance floor. Little did I know that this fortuitous meeting would lay the foundation for a lifelong friendship that would endure through the highs and lows of life's journey.
 
Dennis had a smile that could outshine the sun, with a cheeky glint in his eye that told you mischief was never far away. His wit was as sharp as a razor, always ready to deliver a punchline that would leave everyone in stitches. And that contagious laugh of his, oh, how it would fill a room with pure joy! It will echo in our hearts forever.
 
Dennis wasn't just a master of comedy; he was a shining example of kindness, humility, and unwavering loyalty. He touched the lives of everyone he knew, leaving behind a trail of smiles wherever he went. His positive attitude was infectious, reminding us all, to find the silver lining even in the darkest of clouds.
 
Dennis was an extraordinary father and partner. The bond he shared with his son Isaiah overflowed with love, warmth, guidance, and of course, an abundance of "dad jokes" that brought laughter to their lives. His devotion and unwavering love for Fran, his partner, were a testament to the depth of his affection and commitment. Dennis's heart knew no bounds when it came to nurturing and cherishing his family, leaving an indelible mark of love on their lives.
 
His childhood friendships were a testament to his character. Through the years, those bonds remained unbreakable, a testament to the love and trust he cultivated. Dennis was a rock, a pillar of strength who faced health issues with unwavering power and determination. We are all shocked and devastated by his passing, for he was truly one in a million.
 
But as we all grieve, I will always remember that Dennis is unforgettable. He lives on in our memories, in the moments we all shared and the laughter that still echoes in our hearts, and most importantly, in his beloved son. Dennis's legacy is one of love, joy, and the indomitable spirit that defines him. Though he may no longer be with us physically, his presence will forever be felt in the lives he touched.
